- Precision CNC milling, turning and Swiss-type machining
- IQC, IPQC and OQC quality verification
CNC Turning Services in Vietnam
CNC turning removes material from a rotating workpiece to produce cylindrical and concentric features such as diameters, bores, threads, grooves, tapers and shoulders. TDB Tech applies CNC turning, Swiss-type machining and turn-mill operations according to part geometry, material, tolerance and production requirements.
Share your STEP or IGES file together with a 2D drawing showing critical dimensions, thread specifications, material, quantity, surface finish and inspection requirements. Our engineering team will review manufacturability before quotation.

CNC Turning Capabilities
Our CNC turning capabilities include conventional turning, Swiss-type machining and turn-mill production for complex rotational parts. Projects are reviewed for geometry, material, tolerance, surface finish, inspection requirements and production volume before quotation.
Benefits of CNC Turning and Turn-Mill Machining
Shorter Process Chain and Efficient Production
Combining turning and milling operations can reduce transfers between machines and simplify the production route for parts that contain both rotational and milled features. The recommended process is confirmed during drawing review.
Fewer Setups and Improved Process Control
Reducing the number of setups can limit accumulated positioning error and improve repeatability. Critical dimensions and inspection methods are defined according to the drawing and project requirements.
Turning and Milling for Complex Rotational Parts
Turn-mill machining can produce rotational parts with flats, cross-holes, slots and other secondary features in a coordinated process. Feasibility depends on geometry, material, fixturing and inspection access.

Design Guidelines for CNC Turned Parts
01
Avoid Long and Slender Parts
02
Simplify Complex Geometries
03
Incorporate Chamfers and Fillets
04
Select Machinable Materials
05
Maintain Consistent Wall Thickness
06
Ensure Adequate Clamping Surfaces
These guidelines can improve machinability and cost, but every part should be reviewed against its functional requirements. TDB Tech can assess exceptions during DFM and recommend a practical turning or turn-mill process.
